Kentucky Online Gateway (KOG) is being replaced by KYID. If you previously had a KOG Account, you will not need to create a KYID Account. Use your KOG email and password to sign in!

KYID First-Time Login Steps for Citizens:

  • Provide a Mobile Number or Alternative Email: On your first login, you'll be asked to validate or provide a mobile number and/or an alternative email address. This is an intentional security feature for safe account recovery, required only once for current users.
  • Verify Your Profile: You'll need to review and/or update your existing personal information on your KYID Account. Both the physical field and date of birth will now be required. If you do not have a permanent address, there is an option for you to indicate it.
  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA): If you have previously set up MFA on your account, you'll be prompted to use it to log in.

Once you complete these simple steps, you'll be able to access KYID applications as usual.

Effective July 1, 2025, and pursuant to SB 48 from the 2023 regular session of the Kentucky General Assembly, and SB 244 from the 2025 regular session of the Kentucky General Assembly, the Division of Child Support Enforcement under the Cabinet for Health and Family Services shall be reorganized under the Office of the Attorney General and become the Department of Child Support Services (DCSS). All services currently being provided by both county attorney and state child support staff will remain the same. DCSS is working to update all of our forms. Child support recipients may receive documents after July 1, 2025, that still list the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, Department for Income Support and/or the Division of Child Support Enforcement as the child support agency. Those documents are valid. Certain forms that are tied to regulations cannot be updated until approved. DCSS is in the process of obtaining that approval.
